Inboxes
Overview
While Newsletters give you the ability to create a publication just for you, it doesn't quite solve the problem of inbox clutter. Your Newsletter would just be one in a vast sea of thought pieces, blog posts, and daily news that would take just as much time to sift through every morning.
To fix that, we're introducing Inboxes. Inboxes are a burner email address that you can use to replace where newsletters get sent to; from your inbox to your DeepLetter account. When newsletters are sent to your DeepLetter Inbox, they are summarized, personalized, and included in the next issue of your Newsletter, saving you as much time as possible and turning hundreds of emails in your inbox into a single one that would take a fraction of the time to digest.
Creating & Deleting an Inbox
To create your first inbox, simply go to the Inboxes Page and click on the "Create new inbox" button. Clicking on the button will display a new card with an email address you can copy and begin subscribing to newsletters with.
As you subscribe to newsletters, each publication will be tracked and displayed to you as seen below:
This will help you make sure that you're summarizing the right newsletters, which would look like the following in your issues:
To Delete an Inbox, simply click on the "Delete" button. Make sure that your inbox is not connected to any Newsletters before deleting.
Attaching an Inbox to a Newsletter
To begin aggregating your Inbox's newsletters into yours, simply select the newsletter from the dropdown when creating a Newsletter. Don't worry, you'll be able to edit this after creation if you'd like to switch inboxes.
